Past and Current Programs

AACSD programs support poverty stricken schools by matching school wish lists with community donors. Listed here are our past and current programs.

September 2006 – “I Care Backpack” program primarily sponsored by Boys and Girls Foundation provided basic school supplies for Euclid Elementary 1st Graders starting out the new school year.

November 2006 – “Field trip to Panda Express” in Solana Beach

December 2006 – “Bicycles for Perfect Attendance & Homework” program sponsored by Huffy Bikes and individual donors provided 50 bicycles and helmets to all student at Euclid Elementary (K-5) for having perfect attendance and completing all homework.

November 2006 – “Keep Our Schools and Children Safe” program. We picked up 100 garbage bags of trash around the school grounds and hauled them away.

September 2007 – ”New Clothes for the New School Year” program sponsored by Walmart and an individual donor provided new clothing for Euclid Elementary kindergartners starting out the new school year.

November 2007 – “Book Drive” sponsored by individual donors to provide 600 books to the Euclid Elementary School library.  

December 2007 – “Let’s Play Ball” sponsored by Spalding and individual donors to provide over 500 footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, and soccer balls to Euclid Elementary School. (Boys and Girls Foundations)

December 2008 – “The Christmas Store”. We asked the children to recycle aluminum cans and for every 20 cans, they received a ticket to shop in “The Christmas Store”. The children were able to shop for one gift for a family member or a gift for themselves.

October 2009 – “Back to School Supplies for the Children and Teachers”. Note books, paper, glue, pencils, pens, back packs, folders, etc.

December 2009 – “2nd Annual – The Christmas Store”.
